The Rewards of Tenacity

At last the summer heat has subsided and fall temperatures, even though sometimes in the 80's, are a welcome change. Another welcome change is that Tina's Sedona has rebirthed a shopping cart after a break of several years. I trust you will feel welcomed to shop our full line of beaded artistry from earrings to necklaces to bracelets. When you visit you will find a special offer on any piece that you admire!

WINS & COMING EVENTS Remember the invite I mentioned in August's blog post to apply for a juried gallery exhibit at the Ventana Gallery just north of Tucson? Well, I did apply and three of my pieces were accepted! Turns out that my Desert Transition Necklace won First Prize in the Category of Accessories during September 25th's Exhibit Opening Night! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram many thanks to all who offered congratulations. If you don't follow me perhaps you can view my attempt to share that post now...

Next weekend, I am introducing several French Beaded Sculptures to the Tucson Fiber Arts 2025 Event, a very busy venue offered by the Tucson Handweavers & Spinners Guild to which I belong. This is a once-a-year opportunity to view and purchase an enormous variety of fibre arts creations produced by an illustrious group of Tucson artists!  I hope to sell at least one piece but I will settle for the great exposure this small collection will attract. If you are in town, come by!

CURRENT PROJECT

When I need a break from all the hustle and bustle of preparing for local events, I always run to my beads and get my hands creating. As I continue to experiment with French beading techniques that I have learned while producing beaded sculptures, I am having a blast working on small pieces with an expected end in sight. Right now, these earrings are drawing me into their orbit. The Cactus Wren Art Gallery in Tubac has sold several of this style which has motivated me to see how far I can take them. I might post some into my shopping cart. Ya think? ...What do YOU do when you take a break?

FUTURE PROJECTS

Remember that beautiful hydrangea I created for that gorgeous pot? I have plans to re-pot it. But that is a future post...

Be well, be happy! Hey, just be YOU.
